Ideas re. keeping critters off our tow vehicle when camping?

At a gas stop on the way back from our most recent state-park camping weekend, I noticed extensive, shallow, criss-crossing surface scratches on the hood of the truck...haven't looked at the roof yet....

ports, now you got me worried. I have not been cuffed up for that yet.

Wish you had not posted that, now I may have a problem getting the hose going, :B
