There is a plastic arm that sandwiches under the seat bolt on the right and a spacer to level the left side. Since my seat was not compatible due to design I cut the end off where it would normally be bolted. This leaves a flat arm that you can double side tape or Velcro to the top edge of the bowl just below the seat.
As to how to plumb it. I ran a hose to where I located the water heater for the biffy, and tied into a water line there.
