- BobboExplorer IIIBefore driving it off his property, "test" the dump system. :D
- 3oaksExplorerUnbelievable is all I got to say!
Some people are very inconsiderate and disgusting. I would never consider selling my TT without first emptying and rinsing the holding tanks. :R - 96Bounder30EExplorer IIWhen I sold my last motorhome I delivered it with the refer cold and a 6 pack of coke (cola) in it.....I didn't want them coming back saying the refer wouldn't work....is that similar to above?

Rock solid extra extra fibre brown dirt. Went to flying J to empty and almost nothing came out.
In another discussion I mentioned this new product from Walex called Commando Black Tank Cleaner which might be worth a try. This isn't a tank treatment you'd use on a regular basis but a tank maintenance product you'd use just a couple of times a year. - fla-gypsyExplorerThey dropped a load of cr@p on you. Sold you a pile of sh!+. Wouldn't be surprised if it leaks based on your description.

Did you return any of the old owners personal property to him?
to get off topic for a minute...my neighbor did. he rented a home he owned to who turned out to be a deadbeat. took months but finally got the guy evicted. deadbeat moved out and left a LOT of junk and garbage in the house. the owner knew where the deadbeat had moved, packed all of the junk and garbage up in a trailer, took it to the new house and dumped it on his front lawn. my hero! - bandit86Explorer

Hopefully there is no brown mound.
Same thing happened to us on a fifth wheel from years ago.
Ours was so bad, we had to have the tanks professionally cleaned.
Some people are just pigs. I like the people that put a rig up for sale, and post pics with their junk everywhere, unmade bed, dog cages, etc. Actually just looked at a coach for sale that had pics of a litter box, overflowing with cat poop. :?
Rock solid extra extra fibre brown dirt. Went to flying J to empty and almost nothing came out. I'm going to dig up my septic tank, park the camper over it and get in the drain with an auger or something, at least there are no bends in the pipe.
F me. - BumpyroadExplorerMy dealer has a sign in the service department that there will be a charge of ???$ if tank emptying is required.

Question: is emptying your black tank before selling the #1 rule or the #2 rule?
It "depends"
bumpy - turbojimmyExplorerWow that really is crappy.
I got mine after it sat in a tow yard for 6 years. Tanks were squeaky clean (no, they didn't leak out). I can't imagine doing that to someone.
Like someone else said, if no poop pyramid you're in good shape. My brother got one of those in a TT he bought. Nice little surprise.
