You didn't say what vintage your Wrangler is. The newer ones (07 and newer) have a much better ride than previous models. The TJ had coil spring suspension, which was night-and-day softer ride than my leaf-spring YJ ('95). On the YJ, I removed the sway bars, which improved the ride immensely, with no ill effects on the handling. But its still only slightly smoother ride than a buckboard.
