I also would be interested in what year and model your Wrangler is. 2 door, 4 door, Rubicon or Sport.
We have a '12 Rubicon that is completely stock except for a wench and front bumper. It is our daily driver all winter long in AZ. Both our backs are not in the best shape, but we find the Rubi comfortable enough to make all day long drives in.
You could perhaps get softer shocks or conventional passenger car tires. If you have a 2 door the ride is much more choppy than a 4 door. Our previous Wrangler was a 2 door and it is night and day compared to the 4 door.
