I drove a 2012 Jeep for a couple years, put 80k on it. Overall I liked it in terms of seating, visibility, storage capacity, features, etc. UConnect stinks compared to Sync in my 14 Escape. Big downfall was ride quality, pounded the snot out of my prostate.
It was a Sport model and I'm nearly certain it had a neutral position for the transfer case which would be ideal for flat towing.
From day one the rig had a vibration that two dealers could not resolve. I guess I just got used to it or tired of trying to fight the system to get it fixed after the third or fourth trip. Several repairs along the way to 80k. OE struts were garbage at 15k. Lower Control arms at 40k. 4wd module and Air Bag Module along the way too. Plugs and wires at 60k. I put up with the pulverized windshield till about 70k. Chrysleritis showed up in grand fashion (as expected) shortly before turning it in, HVAC system was almost useless.
I'm very glad I didn't have 38 more payments to make on it.....
I'd be looking at a Terrain or Acadia myself......
