I thought you gave up with your last post. Something about heels and dresses and getting in and out. The patriot and compass will probably have the lowest ground clearance ( if not 4 wheel drive). Not sure about those models but you will most likely need to buy 4 wheel drive to be able to tow 4 down. I assume your talking new?
The Cherokee is probably going to be the best riding compared to the Compass & Patriot. Those two only come in 4 cylinder most likely, where the Cherokee has a 6 cylinder option. It weighs under 4000lbs.
The Cherokee will need to be the "active drive II transmission" and is only available in 4 wheel drive. Your best bet is the limited or Latitude with that option. The trailhawk has a higher ground clearance and firmer ride with other options you probably never use.
Trust me if you get the leather seats the are way too comfy. You'll have problems staying awake.
As far as those with all the problems, we have owned 4 without any problems and one we personally drove over 290,000 miles.
You need to go drive the Cherokee. It is a comfortable ride. You can talk all day about it. Take a test drive.
Liberty is no longer made.
