They only made 172 for North American, he must have been one of the lucky one to buy it. I collect Hypersport race bikes. Someone has to do it. But I still need a1989 0 mile owo1 Yamaha.

It may have been a 91... Wow, I didn't know they were so rare. We were in Germany at the time, so not sure if was US specs or Euro specs.

The 91 is as rare, but many of the model numbers are nearly alike. Most of the bike went only to factory teams in the US and Canada and it took a racing licene to buy one at that time. They sold for $10,000 in 91 and 92. Which was cheap at the time, Honda RC 30 sold for I think $13,000 and in 94 the RC 45 sold for $27,000.
