Leaky kitchen faucet

Is it a single lever faucet or two separate ones.
By your description it sounds like a single handle one.
If it is, you might want to try turning that outside ring counter clockwise. and go from there. If it was a Delta I could walk you through the whole process, but it looks like some weird make.

For what it is worth, I just replaced our kitchen faucet in our travel trailer with a double handle Delta one with a high goose neck spout.
It was the easiest plumbing job I have ever done, and there were no tools required
The whole job including taking out the old faucet took about fifteen minutes or less

It is a single lever faucet. Have no idea who made it. It is on a Forest River Flagstaff 831FLSS. Who ever had the best prices on cheap faucets was what was put in that day.

Probably just needs springs and seats. They are sold in pairs. Grab that ring with your hands and try to screw it off. When I had to replace the springs and seats in mine a month ago, it just screwed off without tools.

You will need to know the make to get the ones that fit. Look all over the faucet for any printing that may give you an idea of who made it. Mine was Harrington Brass, and took Delta parts.

Will a regular house kitchen faucet fit? If so, the more I think about it, the more I may replace it with a regular kitchen faucet. It really is a cheap faucet. It will be worth the hassle of putting in a good faucet if it will fit.

Yes, a standard household faucet will work. When I replaced mine I did have to make a second trip for adapters. Other than that it is maybe a 30 minute job.

the faucets that come stock in most trailers are pure junk. Replaced lots of them with cheap but better made options from home depot or walmart. The stock ones always get stress cracks in the faucet

It's up to you to fix or repair.
I'd first try fixing unless you hate the faucet. Far cheaper/easier than replacing.
Try unscrewing the outer ring by hand. If that doesn't work put some tape around it and use a channel locks or pipe wrench to unscrew it. Inside there should be another ring with flat spots to put a wrench on it and unscrew it. Take the inside parts to your local hardware store or plumbing supply store and reassemble.

X3. Getting ready to go to Lowes to pick up a faucet for the Wildwood. I will get a single handle that has a sprayer where the cold handle would have been and I don't have to drill a hole.

I got the exterior refrigerator we have on the trailer loose (only a dorm size one) so it will now be a breeze to replace the faucet. I can get right to the connections from outside. Helps the old back a lot! Probably a project for tomorrow since I am off work.
