Left Bleach in FW tank…ooops. How long is safe?

Seasonal site…haven’t used the fresh water tank in at least a year. Last weekend, I put about 2 cups of bleach into the 30 gallon fresh tank to sanitize it, filled up tank with fresh water…..also ble...

Two cups was a little overkill. But it will be alright. Think about it, it sits in a plastic bottle on your shelf without leaking and the bottle is way thinner than your tank and piping.

Rule of them for future reference. 1/4 cup per fifteen gallons in all that is needed to sanitize.
