- jplante4Explorer IIYup, the shop at the RV store where I work pulls half-eaten bars of Irish Spring and beds made from dryer sheets out of the campers we store every spring. And yet the myth perpetuates.
- CroweExplorerAt least you know your mice are "squeaky" clean! :B

Irish spring does not work. Here's the proof.
You can't tell people that, though... They leave a bar in the TT, no mice show up, and they insist it's proof positive that the stuff works.
Just like the essential oil true believers... - gboppExplorerIt may not be good for mice but, it's good for Irish Spring sales. :)
- down_homeExplorer IIDynamite or a Jack Russel terrorist are about the only things that will stop rats...or snakes in warm weather.
What about the cinnamon oil on cotton ball thing, does it work? - midnightsadieExplorer IIits peppermint oil. and a product called fresh cab. my rv or boat have mice for lots of years. sits in a pole bldg next to the grain field.
- memtbExplorercavie, we could’ve taken that photo ourselves.....we had exactly the same thing happen. Two years ago, my wife started using little vented, plastic, condiment containers holding cotton balls with “ peppermint essential oils”. We placed these around throughout both our 5th wheel and our little class c.....so far we’ve been “mouse free”! I still have “sticky traps” placed around...but , haven’t caught a mouse in quite some time. memtb
- ThermoguyExplorer IIWell... I put a cut up bars of Irish Springs in my 5th wheel last winter and it is the first spring I didn't find any trace of mice. Maybe if you leave it in the box it doesn't work?
I might try peppermint oil this year. Seems like a better smell than Irish Springs. - B_O__PlentyExplorer II

Ding Ding Ding!!! Winner winner chicken dinner!
You will never convince people that these things don't work, though...
I accidentally left a few empty beer cans in the camper last year, and there were no mice.... hmmm...
