mice!

Good thing I checked on the camper every couple days, found a bunch of papers torn up and mouse nuggets all over the main cabinet. Set a trap, now I wait. Where would it have gotten in? Are water piping and wiring in great danger of being chewed?

  • Look up Bobcat pee. I used this for 4 seasons and have not had 1 mouse inside. predatorpee.com. I hang the 33 day bottle dispensers near my tires and my legs that are touching the ground.

We were parked next to a farmers wheat field, hosting in a State Park. After seeing our first mouse inside, I set a trap and caught it, but from that point I also set 4 traps outside. There was at least one, and often two caught most every night for two months! Never any more inside. I set my traps at the front legs and tires, 95% were caught at front legs. Never saw or caught any during day. First and only time we ever had mouse issues. I've since heard that mice won't cross those strip lights on the ground if left on all night. True or no?

I have no experience or evidence with it but, I think the mice would just chew up the strip lights you leave on the ground.

  • Set lots of traps. However, the bait may lure more inside.
  • I have personally seen a mouse rung through a hole that the tip of my pinky would barely fit. So, if you have holes that can let air in, mice can come in.

  • Check your wheel wells & fill any crack you find.

They will get through the smallest opening you can imagine.
