Whatever works in your case. we bought sor of the sonic repellers thingies several years ago, and have several plugged into unused outlets whenever we connected to shore power and will not be staying in the rig. DW can hear them beeping, so they have to go when she is in. Don't know if they work, but we haven't had any mice in a long time, so we just keep using them. Have not seen any elephants either.
