Mice

Just checked up on the MH which is in storage outside in Michigan.
Found LOTS of mouse droppings around and walnuts and husks stored in various places. About the size of golf balls. Also found several walnuts in engine compartment.
The MH has several,7, traps set with peanut butter and a couple were tripped, but no dead mice. The mice made no attempt to eat the peanut butter on those or any other trap.
There is NO food in the MH from me.
Also had a mouse problem while traveling, 3 known mice--all deceased.
There has to be an awful big hole to get those walnuts in.
Thoughts?

  • A friend of mine had good success with sticky pads (get the larger ones for rats), because they will catch them when they run down the length of a wall, and not just when they are actively looking to grab bait.

You might need to get a friend with a bright flashlight to shine around the inside while someone on the other side looks for the light to find the holes.
