In 1970 I bought a Toyota FJ-55 with a 236.7 CI engine and the joke in those days was that it was a copy of the Chevy 235CI. The only thing was that Toyota had gotten an engine that had been bored out a bit and had a crack in the #5 exhaust valve seat.I had to pull the head several times to have that repaired untill I got a Man-a-fre hopup kit and split the manifold and added a Rochester 2g3 carb.
