More lack of control in Chinese goods
clicky This stuff happens alot in China. They are making knock off F 150s and Chevy trucks. Their government is just as dirty....look at their fighter jet that is built from the plans they stole ...

Here is the problem with the above posts, and with Doing business with CHINA.
Patent and copyright is issued country by country, MOST countries have agreed to honor each other's patents and copyrights, so:
If there is no patent or copyright,, Then you can copy it without any worry of legal recourse.. There is no law against copying it.
IF there IS: here in the US, then if you go to say Canada or England, You can get Busted for copyright/patent violation.
But China never signed that agreement, so US patent and copyright are worthless there. It is legal for them to produce copies.. Just not to sell them outside the country (for the most part) yet they still do.
And there is an old trick that works even if you wish to copy her ein the us.. You make a "Few changes" though I hope it is not as bad,, I know my mother once explained it,, The company she worked for made a product that had a blue wire included in the design,, Use YELLOW wire, and its a different product.
Of course this was before all the LOOK AND FEEL lawsuits that McDonalds started back in what, around 1980 (But as the happy hoooker would have said had she joined the look and feel suit craze: That's my line, been using it on my clients for years) Of course, in Las Vegas there is a company called Happy Hookers (They own a fleet of tow trucks).
