Here's an interesting FWIW incident: We recently had a sheet metal shop replace our chimney cap when we had a new fireplace installed in our stick house. The guy (owner of the shop) said he was going to cut a portion out of the old sheet metal cap and hang it up on the wall of his shop.
He pointed to the "US Steel" logo stamped onto a portion of the old cap and said that is what he was going to keep and hang up. He said US Steel was a thing of the past and that very little steel originated in the U.S. anymore.
IMHO, what is this country coming to ... anyway???
