My sleep sucks
Brand new TT, queen size bed. Added a foam topper and thick goose down like topper and finally the bed is soft enough and thick enough. BUT... I'm cramped. Can't toss and turn because overhead storage...

Sorry to hear about all your troubles.
I would be measuring the thickness of your current mattress and extra padding. If you could find a mattress that is shorter but more comfortable, it would solve your problems. I found that a mattress topper makes the bed very warm, and took off the mattress topper after a couple of weeks. Then bought a pillow top mattress to replace the factory one that was then about 7 years old. .
