Traded my 2004 Dodge 2500 5.7 gasser with a 3.73 axle that was rated at 9400 lb towing. Have towed my 2007 5er w/8,000 dry weight for 8 yrs now. Only trouble was pulling the RV out to Utah & Colorad...

I would guess the 6.0 since he has the 4.10's.
I would think the new tow beast should pull the trailer a lot better than your old truck. With the 4.10's, and the 6spd trans, you should be all set!
