You where able to find a 2500 GMC that has 3,100 pounds of cargo rating?
Your pin weight is probably close to 1,800 pounds, the hitch around 200 pounds and my guess is that you will have 600 - 700 pounds of passengers and other stuff in the pickup when camping. . .
