The biggest advantages you gained were a 6 speed transmission over the Hemi's 5 speed, and the 4.10 over the 3.73.
The GM 6.0L Vortec isn't much more powerful than the Hemi you had.
The 10 year newer truck will be a big change too in features and comfort.
