Agreed, we use them on the farm a lot. The new ones require a million pumps just to get them to go up a couple of inches. We finally broke down and bought a air over hydraulic bottle jack. It still takes a million pumps but, now we just hook it to the air compressor line and hold down on the button and it pumps itself. It was a cheaply made thing too. We had to take it apart and oil it completely before it would work.
