Over nite at truckstops

When dead heading somewhere our preffered overnight spots from best to worst are,

1. Casinos
2. Box Stores
3. Travel centres like Travel America or Flying J's etc
4. Campgrounds in a pinch.

We have never been to a "truck stop" so can't comment.

How can that be? You must be mistaken. According to Dateline NBC, these places are full of call girls knocking on each trucker's window several times a night. Our own members warn others that if they get a knock on the window to send the wife to answer it. A respectable organization like Dateline would never exaggerate, would they?

Who would want to watch a story about S E X on TV if it wasn't true?

stayed at truckstops, rest areas, big parking lots and never had trouble.
when a few hrs sleep and break is needed on a long trip while driving these are wonderful places to stop. just watch your safety issues and all was fine for us on every stop.

Never had a problem parking / sleeping in a truck stop. Have done it for years.No complaints running the generator. Have supper or breakfast, fuel up, check out the shopping, pick up an atlas and or some wheel nut covers etc. Engines running put me to sleep; and to watch truckers move their machines around in small spaces with the dexterity and confidence of a ballet dancer is quite a show in itself.

She introduced me to the night security in case we needed it... on her way out , she knocked on the door.. when we opened it ,she handed us a full bag of food at no charge...

The night was quiet , and felt safe.. ( AND FULL :B )

And BTW... there was a letter sent to corporate commending the manager and employees for their hospitality...

Hope you didn't get somebody fired with that letter to their Corporate office !!!

Remember reading awhile back about a worker getting fired from there because he gave some food away !
