The 350 comes with 4" vs. 2" spacer blocks under the rear springs. These can be upgraded for about $40 a piece. Then you need longer U bolts so another $25. The main spring packs are actually the same. The only difference is an upper overload spring is standard on a SRW 350. If you friend has the camper package then he already has this spring as it adds it to a 250. If does not, he can add the overload spring but would be better off doing air bags which achieve the exact same thing but offer adjustability.
As everyone else said, other than those to differences, the 250 and SRW 350 are physically 100% identical. The 250 is de-rated on paper and the door jamb sticker to cater to a different market segment.
PS: If your friend doesn't want to go to his dealer for parts, Ready Lift makes a kit with everything you need to go from 2" to 4".
