Phoenix area shop to install steps such as Mor-Ryde?

Can anyone recommend a good shop in metro Phoenix area to install steps such as Mor-Ryde or Lippert? Wife is said she must have something better than the traditional fold out steps.
  • Yes, you choose how many steps you need. They are also adjustable both at the top step and the feet at the bottom. The website for them shows the various step combinations, and also gives info on how to measure.
    Torklift GlowStep site.

Go to "Find Your Fit" in the red bar at the top of the page. Then scroll down to "accessories" and click on it. That will open a PDF and then scroll down near the bottom of the PDF for a chart that shows all the different combinations of steps and model numbers.

The reason we have two different steps is because the ground is a little higher in the rear and our trailer is on its' permanent site and not towed anymore. Normally you don't need two sets of steps unless you use the rear door constantly - which we do.

We have had the Glowsteps almost since they came out several years ago. We love them! They are well made, look good, are very easy to deploy and store, and most importantly - they do not bounce when you step on them. :)

I'm seriously thinking about the Glowsteps. I see you have a 3 step at one door and a 4 step on the other. They appear the same height so I assume its a choice as to how many steps to go with?

Am thinking I may not be able to go with the Mor-Ryde steps. Not enough room to swing them out while my 5th wheel is in storage. Am looking at the Torklift Glowstep Revolution steps but do not know much about them.

  • I understand your sofa question now.
Yes you need a good shop recommendation.

They are really easy to install. Just drill some holes and put some bolts through them.
The old steps were a little pain to get off, but not to bad.

  • Try Southwest RV in Glendale. They are an honest good family business. I recommend them highly. They are located around Bell Road and 63rd Ave. Good folks. They have done a lot of work for me.
