If you are connected to shore power (120VAC) then the battery should be charged by the converter/charger. Usually this is located near or behind the fuse panel. You need to get a decent cheap volt meter. Fuses might look good, but there is only one true way to know. Voltage test. My guess you will find no 12VDC through at least one of the fuses. You should also look behind the radio. Many will have at least one inline fuse for presets. But I have also seen a power fuse for the radio.
