Sorry,you got that bass ackwards,we had several vehicles that were base vehicles and they where referred to as 2x4 nontactical
your right a 4wd dually is a 4x4.A 2.5 ton truck is a 6x6 even though
it has 10 wheels
Then again, I forgot I was talking about my '87 Honda Magna Classic - which is a 2x4 too, also, as well. Two wheels, 4 cylinders, four exhaust pipes - oppps, maybe that a 2x4x4 now that I think about it.
