- Bucky_BadgerExplorerThanks..I guess I'll have to shop around next time
- DtaylorExplorerI pay $14 to have a 20lb tank filled. So, yes, you are paying too much
- DE88ROXExplorerjust filled up one of my 30 pounders at U-Haul. 7 gallons at just under 30 bucks.
Not bad since I have been using dealer filled tanks for the last 2 years from when I bought new. 30 bucks for 2 years? ill take it! - RV_wandererExplorerThat sounds high to me, too. I usually pay between $17 to $21 to fill one of my tanks. Depends where I'm at. Anyway, if you need propane you gotta pay the price. ;). BTW, it's a good idea to ask fellow campers where they fill up their tanks. I usually do that if I'm in an unfamiliar area. Many RVers are fairly frugal and know where the lower prices are.

I pay $2.29/gallon, up from $1.99 (but it fluctuates up and down)at my local Costco here in San Diego County. A stand-alone is currently at $1.99/gallon next to San Diego Harley-Davidson, a pretty good price indeed. :)Mvander wrote:
Not sure what the $\litre was but an empty 20# is about $11 to fill at Costco.
I've never seen a Costco with Propane at least in the western US states. - rv2goExplorer III paid $1.75 a gal just a few weeks ago in Seaside, OR. The avg. price I saw on the WA/OR coast was $1.95. Here in Vegas, I have seen it as low as $2.75. I just don't understand a dollar difference for the same propane.

Compared to AZ........yep!!
Highest in area is $2.75 at a CG....lowest $1.99 at a propane supplier
I'm seeing prices from $2.75 to $4.50 across metro Phoenix. Really varies from station to station. - 2oldmanExplorer IIYes that is high, but Uhaul tends to be higher because you can pay the attendant at the pump.
