You may need to get a new hose and eliminate the regulator on the grill but if you have sufficient supply onboard the trailer, you could just connect into the trailer propane system.
Finally got around to doing this for the blackstone and it's quite nice as there is only a hose to store. The two 20# tanks lasted about 2 months (1 month per tank) over the winter using the furnace a fair bit.
