PSW 300W Inverter Sale

Lowes again has Zamp inverters that they are blowing out. In the past I've bought an 800W & 1KW and they work great.

While at Lowes I found a stack of 300W PSW on sale for $37.28 (Normal $149.13)
DRP 300W Pure Sinewave Inverter
Mode #l: ZP-300PS
Stock #: 790729

its obviously too small to run the appliances you mention, but it's a perfect size for the entertainment stuff. TV, Sat, DVD, charging PC batteries impossible on 12v without a D.C. charger, etc. The hard core dry guys will also tell you that something this size with the loads I mentioned is way more efficient than trying to keep a 2K inverter in idle, and for these loads that's darn near what it is. It takes allot more power to keep those giant FETs running than these. I know several people with whole house inverters, and a separate one of this size for that reason.
But if you don't need it, that's OK too

How do you power up the TV?

Sounds like a great find - gonna have to go to our local LOWES and see if they have any...

300WATT PSW Power Inverters are very useful item to have two or three around...

ADDED NOTE - just checked three or four local stores here in the Fredericksburg VA area and they all say "Unavailable for Pickup at N. Manassas Lowe's"

Don't know if one could order one of those or not???

  • My first impulse upon seeing this post is to run out to Lowes and buy this inverter,, being PSI that's a great price. But then I got to thinking what do I need it for? We are only just getting ready to start drycamping, and I've upgraded my batteries and added solar., we have all LED lighting. Currently I can't think of anything that uses 300 watts or less that we couldn't run just off the 12 volt receptacles in the fiver. Can anyone give me some examples of stuff needing 300 watts or less that can't be done with 12 volt DC? Even the coffee maker I've replaced with a stove top percolator. 300 watts won't run a hair dryer.
  • Holy moley, they also have a 2000W PSW for $135. That is a real savings if these are durable. I'd assume they are similar to most of the usual brands.
