Most of those hitches have 3 locations, forward, centered and rearward. Why do you have yours forward esp on a long bed? I have the B&W in a new Ram with the puck system with hitch in the center position and don't have any issues. Can't think that moving it to rearward position would make much diff in towing, just would put your pin weight more toward tailgate.
