ReadyBrute and ReadyBrake

What's the difference between Readybrute Elite and a Readybrute with a Readybrake added?

The obvious is length and two pins versus only one pin to connect the Elite. Am I missing anything?

I ordered a Readybrute Elite (RB 9050) on eBay. The seller sent a Readybrute tow bar (RB 9025), stuffed a Readybrake (looks like an older style -doesn't match what's available on the RB website) in the box and is calling it good. I'm looking for other differences for seeking refund.

Contact your credit card company and tell them you are disputing the charge and why. (If you're a good customer) they odds are very high that you'll get your money back.

I think that eBay has some sort of customer satisfaction response too. Contact them, and also PayPal if that's how you paid.
  • If seller claims they are the same and put a part number in his description. He is wrong. Biggest difference is the Elite setup is 8" + shorter than the Ready Brute/Ready Brake combination. If this is going to cause a problem with your setup. Then put in a complaint to EBAY Buyer Protection. This should resolve the problem very quickly. Even if you get it resolved make sure you leave NEGATIVE feedback. With explanation of why you are leaving it.
  • Thanks,

I thought it was longer. Eight inches may make a difference in the parking area at the house.

The seller has responded to my request and is sending a Readybrute Elite. So, I am glad I don't have to cancel deal, pursue refund and repurchase somewhere else.
  • I ended up with the "extension" when I replaced my US Gear braking system with the Ready Brake as I already had the Ready Brute towbar. I actually like the extension as I can now turn sharper without the toad hitting the back of the MH.
