:) Hi, I mounted my wireless sensor on the front of my trailer for a better signal; Because of this, it was easier to connect my camera to my Battery Tender connection at my batteries. Point being, once I plug my camera in, it is on all of the time. Not just with certain lights turned on. And because it is part of my Garmin GPS, I can toggle back and forth from map to camera as I wish.

I am also looking into a reasonably priced rear view system. I did go the cheap route on Amazon and had fair results for many years. I actually used and still using a License Plate Camera(wireless). The problem with the cheaper models is the intermittent operation as in going over a bump might cause the screen/camera to go off and on.

I've just grown tired of this hence I want something better..wireless preferred but I could go wired too since I have the old wires still back there. I'll keep my eye on this thread.

I have not went that far down the road yet, but it won't be a Furrion. Maybe Voyager which seems to have good reviews. Have got to figure out how to reuse the Furrion mount Rockwood installed. I wonder how much the kickback is they get for putting that mount on, which steers you towards buying Furrion's junk?

Maybe nothing as it's not an absolute requirement regardless. I made it a lot of years without one.

Lets see, Furrion Camera crapped the bed within 3 years, Furrion TV crapped the bed within 2 years and had a horrible picture when it did work, Furrion Trailer side power connector LED and LED on Furrion Shore cord crapped the bed within 2 years (at least they both still work just no LED). Good stuff that Furrion.

Furrion makes cheap garbage and when it fails (In our case the camera lens degraded during the 3rd year of use for some reason unknown to us or Furrion), the solution is to buy a new entire system. Our FOS48TAPK Furrion Observation system was over $300 at the time we purchased it @2016. The new model junk they now have ( The Vision S) will set you back quite a bit more than that to the tune of $450 or so. No replacement or repair parts are available for anything they distribute. And get this you can still buy the previous model at Amazon and other places but they do not bother to tell you it's discontinued and has no warranty or support. I bought a camera, extension wire, and a monitor from Amazon for about $75 and it works well. I bought a second camera for my TC that I can use with the same wires and monitor.
