Reflective Tape Source

Good to know.

When I needed to match a stripe on my RV I went to Vinyl Graphics they have everything you need and in the color you want plus reflective tape,they are all made by Universal Products.

Just scroll down the left side to Pinstripes. there you will find all of their stripes and the sizes needed.

Before you order spend the $6 bucks and get the Universal Products Color chart this will tell you all the colors that they have and on the back of it it lists the sizes they come in with the needed code to order.

I found a perfect match from the chart,the colors in the chart are on vinyl strips so you can lay them over anything you want to see the match.

Universal Products makes the top rated vinyl striping.

I just bought a few small 3ft long reflective red/silver from Lowes near the signs and mailboxes. I just cut them to fit on my slides so people could see them at night if we have them out somewhere. I think they were around $3.

I got 3-M Reflective tape for my Slides at a Truck Stop.. like 3 feet by 4 inches give or take a bit.

Harbor Freight even carries it I believe I saw it at Wally World too

i got mine at harbor freight
stuck on the edges of all my compartment doors, (stainless steel folded over) disappears against pavement/concrete in sunlight or dark

and on the back edge of my motorcycle carrier

I have an order in for 1" orange, 150 yards at +/- $42.00. I don't have the invoice handy.

Our Bounder has two rows of orange tape and it is really sunburned so I bought this to replace it. The yellow tape is okay but some of the painted stripes need repainting, but tha's for another day.

I believe you are only going to get about a third of what you think - 150 FEET or 50 yards.

Reading the ad again you are right, it says 50 yds. I am so lazy in reviewing what I wrote, thanks for mentioning it.

Don't waste your money on anything but 3M Reflective C2 DOT tape. I work at a trucking company, all other brands we have tried over the years will fail, delaminate, chalk, or just fall off within two years. The 3M Reflective C2 DOT tape is all we use now, will last 5 to 7 years, sticks to everything! As well as meets DOT C2 requirements for brightness and reflective angles. I got some from work and added a few 12" red pieces to the rear and rear sides of my frame, as well as some 12" white pieces to the front frame. I know it helps a lot to keep your visible at night. Just watch for the cheaply stuff you will be sorry.

My SIL is a school bus mechanic, and they call it "conspicuity tape"!

Another source might be your local vinyl graphics printer -- the guy who does boat registrations, &c. When we got our boat we had all the law-required stuff done in white reflective for the added visibility when towing at night. We also got reflective American flags from him for the boat and the RV.
