I can't say anything because I probably would have done the same thing. From what I can see that lot is basically empty and it doesn't appear that it will inconvenience anyone unduly.
Unless it's a restaurant and I would be in there more than just a few minutes. But if it's a store of some kind and I plan on stopping for just 10-15 minutes, no biggie.
I figure most signs are just suggestions, like speed limit signs. :)
