Being this is for "fun" here is my opinion. Not saying this is right, just my opinion.
The so called "food chain" in the end is whatever makes someone happy.
When people get into RVing it is the human nature to always want bigger and better. Then after some time(years for some) you get what makes you feel happy. I can tell you I don't enjoy pulling around a big 5th wheel. Gets to be a hassle. We are probably the happiest right now with a small class C. Go about anywhere, stop anywhere, come and go as you please. But that is "for" us. Could we full time in it...Yes but we wouldn't be happy, not enough room. Would we be happier in a big MH, maybe. But we wouldn't be able to enjoy some of the places we like that are small.
Another some people think that biggest size or amount of money spent will make them happy. Seldom turns out that way.
So in the end...Whatever makes you happy, but you might have to go thru several RV's to find what works for you.
