RV Fuel Issues & Prices - Post 'Em Here!

When I last filled up the motor home gasoline was almost a buck more a gallon than the current price. With 2+' of snow with more snow falling, the motor home will stay in its garage.

The park was a KOA and was destroyed in Hurricane Charlie. It was taken back by the bank and many of the long term renters bought the park and own individual sites and a piece of the common areas (condo method). Prices started at $15,000 and got up to about $60,000 for the waterfront sites. They fell drastically with the boom. I have stayed there many times. About half the owners are retirees from the auto industry. Many people own multiple sites and rent out to snowbirds to cover all expenses. Airplanes are mainly on the weekend.

Diesel in sunny Fl runs from 3.79 to 4.14 from the panhandle to Ft Meyers. We are in a park at 98 bucks a week outside of Punta Gorda, cheap till 1/1/14 then goes to 252 a week.

Unbelievable! All reported local stations on Gas Buddy are at $2.99. Diesel is running about 80+¢ a gallon more. Geeze, the gas in the motor home was almost a dollar more a gallon. Too bad the camping season is done for us for another 5 months....:R

$3.11 in Parker AZ, 9.7 mpg from our V-10 (24' Class C). :C

$3.19 for unleaded and $3.94 for number 2 diesel in central ND.

Here in CT just paid $3.47 at BJ's which is as cheap as it gets.

Average regular here in central MA has been on the rise, most are at $3.39 or higher.

Yea, most of the local stations have lowered their prices to $2.99. Plus we made it through Thanksgiving. Now we wait for Christmas. :B Hopefully everyone made it OK through Black Friday.

In Florida Pisces went from$3.10 to $3.50 a double of weeks ago.
