I actually know this because a few years ago I was in a car dealership here in California buying a new car. They had a sales board up with a list of names of all the people who had bought cars that weekend. One of the names on the list was Donna Douglas. I asked the salesman if that was Ellie Mae on the list and of course he had no idea what I was talking about. I had to tell him that Donna Douglas played Ellie Mae on the Beverly Hillbillies. He said he didn't think it was her because it was an elderly lady that bought the car. So I got out the iPhone and looked her up and at that time she would have been 77. So it may have been her.
