You are correct in the power (BTU's). It just does not get enough heat. They are fine for burgers and hot dogs. The overall makeup of the thin metal is also another issue. We have the Weber Q-220 and it the finest grill in the world! We got it as a retirement gift form DH's company, but would pay to get another if we had to! We have had to replace the burner and the regulator, but we use it heavily as full timers and it is now almost 10 years old. With the grill, stand, cover and tank it will be about $300. A low price complement to a RV!
