My Sam's will take a Master Card, but not Visa. When I had the Sam's Credit card, the cashier would automatically put my total on the card but, at least back then, I couldn't view my bill or pay it on line when I was on the road. So I swapped for a membership only card and then pay at the register with my bank's Master Card which I can view on line.
