what is the definition of a self contained RV? I always thought it was your basic/standard RV withholding tanks, etc. On board water tanks, propane appliances, etc. I have seen ads by dealers that say "N" after the item "self contained". other than park models, pop ups, and FEMA units, aren't most all RVs self contained?bumpy

I agee, your definition is what I thought was self-contained. The only thing I can think of is maybe it requires a generator.

Many B's, TC's, and smaller TT's do not have complete bath and/or kitchen facilities.

I would guess it means you can go away from civilization and still have whatever you need. A generator, or some other source of power, like a large solar array, would be necessary.

As midnightsadie inferred, I wouldn't take the dealer's word for it.
