Not true... They also make 5100s for stock height. I run them on my stock height 2500HD like MANY others do.
4600 and 5100 exact same shock except for the 5100 can be used for stock or 1-2" lift.
Maybe...maybe not...
Have run both and my butt-meter tells me 4600s are stiffer.
