Remember Lady Bird Johnson's Highway Beautification Act. There is supposed to not be near as many advertising signs along the Interstate or everywhere.
They are distracting and sometimes dangerous with blinding lights etc.
They distract everybody just a little, conscious of it or not. Some stretches of Interstate would be beautiful again if they didn't have these insidious intrusive ugly billboards.
