I work for TxDot on construction sites and have often complained about the overuse of construction signs. When a work zone becomes so cluttered with signs, people tend to pay less attention to them, in my opinion. I am currently on a project that will have 8 electronic message boards running this week. Combine this with all the orange signs and it will be sensory overload. This project is only approximately a half mile in length. But who am I to complain, I just work on the job and am not the Aggie engineer sitting behind the desk thinking up all this stuff.
