I have done this but my slide was smaller and the original plywood floor was 1 1/8th Marine plywood.
I think you first need to take yours apart. This is not an easy job but is doable if you are handy.
If your trailer has Laminate Fiberglass sides this could be very difficult. It's much easier with an aluminum sided trailer.
I rebuilt my slides floor and some of the supporting wall sections.
It took me ten days of working all day every one of those days. And a good share of that was spent running around trying to find appropriate hardware and parts. (I was in Minot, ND though not exactly the center of the universe)
