2009 Nissan Frontier, 4-cyl, 2WD, 5-spped. Very much the nicest of the "small" trucks built in that year. Tacoma, Frontier, Ranger, Colorado. Tight, carlike ride, no squeaks/rattles, interior looks deluxe even in our XE base model.
That said, only Ranger was the "mini-truck" in the bunch. All the others had already gone "mid-size." I went into this wanting a Ranger, but the option combinations and uncomfortable ride drove me off. Lots of ways I think Ranger is the best toad of that bunch. It's easily the lightest, and is very maneuverable. Tight turn circle. And VERY VERY Cold Air Conditioning.
EDIT - Looked a your Profile - You can tow anything you want with that big DP, but I'll mention the SportTrack would be the heaviest of the bunch. They're a very popular toad, full four-door cab and a short but decent truck bed. Check carefully on the towing since some model years may call for a dealer-installed "neutral kit" for the electronic transfer case.
