Instinct is to circle the wagons. So yes, I expect it.

My father-in-law would park right next to you and after set up would come over and say hi. And if he didn't see you or anyone else in the campground when he first got there, he would probably not stay.

Take a look at just about any online reservation site for State and National parks - people always seem to be grouped in the booking maps. When we book ahead we always try to find a spot that's away from the rest of the bookings, but we go to 'get away' so perhaps that's just not what people do outdoors anymore

Start fishing in the middle of the lake and see how many boats start surrounding you with their fishing lines in your space. It's not just RV.s that have this magnetic field.

I call them Cling-Ons. And they do the same dang thing on the freeway!!!

That disease also seems to affect private campgrounds. We were in Williams, AZ at the new, large, Grand Canyon RR campground and selected a site at the far end of the nearly empty CG. We went on the RR ride to the Canyon and came back to find a rig right next to ours. Seems like the CG computer selects the sites and the managers don't have enough sense/knowledge to override the selections. This happens at other CG's also for the same reason.
