Those website are written by people who don't have a clue.
Call any LE agency and ask if you can triple tow. They're going to go by the legal definition and assume you mean pulling 3 trailers. They'll tell you, most likely in all states, that towing 3 trailers is illegal. Then you're going to argue with them that such and such website says it's legal. Fact is you're talking layman's language while the law will be describing legal language which is used in the statutes.
Go ahead and use 'triple tow' if you want. It's not the legal definition and it's not accurate. To those who know tho it shows a person doesn't have a clue what they're talking about.
