Switched LED's for Halogen on Scare Lights

I use a flashlight whenever venturing out of my home or coach if it's in the dark. The only things I have to contend with where I'm located in Texas is; alligators, water moccassins, rattle snakes, copperheads, and an occasional coral snake. Yeah, maybe I'm paranoid, but I'm not stepping out into the jaws of a 'gator or steppin' on a snake.

In summary, English composition was never one of my strong subjects.

And I read that the LED's did not carry as far, Assumed you went to Halogen so it WOULD carry farther...

Sort of like the old line proffread carefully to make sure you did not any words out.

(I can't say I've never done it, I can say I've done it many times)

Now what fun would that have been?

Wow - that straightened it out. I have to admit I read the subject like lots of others, but as I read your post (as JimInDenver said) I understood what you did.

Maybe your subject should have been:

I changed out those really hot and bright halogen lights TO LEDs - how cool is that? :B

Even with the title if people read the thread before responding, it wouldn't be a issue.

Scare Lights never heard them called that

For us no need to Scare just identify what's out there
I use several Sodium Vapor lights to see if letting the dog out after dark is a good idea or not with the Bear, Elk, Moose, Coyotes, Wolfs, Turkeys, etc.. that hang out on the lawn

No the lights are not on the RV - not enough battery for them there

If you read the entire post you would see I replaced 80 watts of halogen (2 fixtures, with 2, 20 watt bulbs per fixture) with LED's. Of course having someone not take the time to read everything a person wrote before they launch their smart axx remarks is common place on most forums. And you are no exception.

Doesn't matter what you wrote, you used the words "Halogen" and "Scare light" in the same sentence and you set the tone for the post until it gets closed. Those words bring out the best in some folks. Buckle up.

FWIW - I think you want did the right thing by making yourself less invasive. It will keep the "torch and pitchfork" crowd off your campsite when you want to take the dogs out.
