My father did this too. I'm not a serial killer either. Unfortunately, however, it caused a lifetime of resentment that lasts to this day, well past his demise. The good of this is that it caused me to raise two beautiful, intelligent, socially responsible and respectable women without having to resort to beating them as "discipline"
